The Teen Survivor:
A Support Group For Teen Survivors of Sexual Assault
The Teen Survivor support group meets Sunday evenings from 7-8:15pm
There is an 8 week commitment requirement.
Upcoming 2021 Start Dates
March 7th - April 25th
$160 covers all 8 weeks ($20/session)
A portion of the cost may be reimbursable by insurance and we are happy to provide a superbill upon request. Please note that a superbill requires we assign a mental health diagnosis.
Your teen does not have to suffer alone.
Your teen does not have to be defined by experiences rooted outside of their own body consent and autonomy.
Your teen does have to feel shame for what was done to them.

At a time when teens are just beginning to experience their bodies in fuller ways, sexual assault experiences can shut down important, developmentally normal embodiment exploration and can begin a trajectory of feeling unsafe in their own bodies and isolated from peers' bodies.
Affirming Group Support provides the safety and connection teens need to explore the consent, embodiment, and integration needed to pursue healing and meaning-making rooted in their own body autonomy and
in their collective peer experience.
What Your Teen Will Gain
Practical skills & tools for coping with the aftermath of sexual abuse and/or assault
Increased knowledge about sexual abuse/assault and how to reduce risk of revictimization
Increased confidence in their ability to pursue recovery
Increased ability to identify and utilize coping skills
Decreased feelings of isolation, shame, guilt and stress.
Opportunities to participate in experiential, art, breathing, journaling, mindfulness, eating, & movement activities
Connection with and support from other group members in a supportive, affirming space
