MEET

DR. HEATHER DELGADO

Hi, I’m Heather!

If you've found your way here, I'm guessing there's something in your life that feels difficult, overwhelming, or maybe just not quite right. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know:

You Don't Have To Carry It All Alone

Maybe you've been carrying a lot lately.

Maybe you've been through something painful or frightening,

and you're struggling to feel like yourself again.

Maybe you're navigating loss, uncertainty, difficult relationships, or changes you never expected.

Or maybe you can't quite put your finger on what's wrong. You just know that something doesn't feel right.

You've been trying to figure things out, hold everything together, and keep moving forward.

And honestly? That's exhausting.

I want you to know that you don't have to figure it all out on your own. I'm here to help you feel less alone, more understood, and more connected to yourself and the life you want to live.

You Deserve to Be Seen, Heard, & Understood

Really understood.

Not just listened to while someone waits for their turn to talk. Not judged, analyzed, or immediately told how to fix everything.

I mean having someone genuinely interested in understanding your experiences, your feelings, your relationships, and how you've come to see yourself and the world.

I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about where they are, curious enough to explore how they got there, and supported enough to imagine something different.

That's the kind of relationship I want to build with you.

A relationship where you can show up as your whole, authentic self.

You don't have to perform, pretend, have the right words, or make your experiences sound better or worse than they are.

You get to be human here.

And so do I.

I DON’T BELIEVE YOU NEED TO BE FIXED.

I don't see you as a problem to solve.

I see a person with a history, relationships, strengths, fears, hopes, and experiences that have shaped who they are.

Some of those experiences may have been incredibly painful. Some of the ways you've learned to cope may no longer be serving you. And some parts of yourself may be difficult to understand or accept.

But you don't have to reject parts of yourself in order to grow.

I want to help you look at your experiences with greater curiosity and less judgment.

To recognize where you are right now without feeling like you have to stay there forever.

To understand the choices you're making, the life you're living, and whether those things reflect what matters most to you.

Because I believe you already have the capacity for meaningful change.

Sometimes you just need a little support finding your way.

If you're ready to embrace and embody more of who you are, I’d love to show you how.

YOU ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU’VE BEEN THROUGH.

I believe healing can begin when we make room for our experiences without allowing them to become the entirety of who we are.Your trauma may be part of your story. Your grief may be part of your story. Your struggles may have shaped you in ways you never anticipated.

But they don't have to be the only story you tell about yourself.

Together, we can work toward creating more space around the painful parts of your life, so they feel less overwhelming and leave more room for connection, possibility, and the things that matter to you.

We don't have to erase what happened.

We can work toward helping you live more fully alongside it.

I am trained in Brainspotting, a brain-based trauma protocol that helps clients identify, process, and release core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation.

PERSONAL:

When I am not in the counseling office, you can find me spending time with my husband and our two kids, going to the movie theater, or watching reality tv.
