Hi, I’m Joy (She/Her). I'm so glad you're here. That you've taken the first step toward healing. The first step is often the hardest but it's those first steps that lead to next steps that lead to a life of your own.

I Believe That You Can Have

a Life Of Your Own

If you've experienced having your life limited or controlled by others, it may be hard to imagine this is possible. Hard to imagine things being any different than how they are right now.

Your Life Can Get Better

In my own personal and professional life, I've seen how trauma, no matter how big or small, can have profound impacts on our lives. So profound, that without the proper tools and support, the trauma can completely take over. Depriving us of the life we were meant to live. My own journey of survivorship from relationship violence has not been easy, but I can tell you it has been 100% worth it. And, guess what.....the work of seeking healing and recovery will be worth it for you too.

Your Healing Is Worth It

The journey of healing and recovery is an ongoing process. Each and every day, you'll have a chance to take back control of your life and story. To reclaim your narrative, your body, and your relationships.

I believe that you don't have to settle for *just surviving* the negative things that have happened to you.

That you can learn to thrive and live a healthy life full of love, self-compassion, grace, fulfillment, and so much more.

I Want To Help You Thrive

So, how do we do this?  We start by, together, creating a safe and supportive space in therapy.

It's important to me that YOU get to be part of that process. YOU get to have a say in how your safety is created.

You no longer have to relinquish control to someone else or something else.

You Get to Take Back Control Of Your Life

Gone are the days of living life as something that happens TO you; I want to help you experience life as something you have agency over. I will walk alongside you as you transition from a passive recipient of life to an active participant in re-writing your own narrative. A narrative that is in alignment with your authentic self, true desires, and unique strengths

The Next Chapter Of Your Journey Begins Today

Whether you're a survivor of relational trauma, a couple in need of reconnection, or a family in search of understanding and cohesiveness, I'm here to be a part of creating that sacred space where true healing and transformation can occur.

It's normal to be afraid of what lies ahead. It can be terrifying to step into the light out of the darkness.

But you don't have to do it alone.
